Audio guide on the history of Icelandic horses
The Centre for the History of the Icelandic Horse is located in Hólar in Hjaltadalur in the north of Iceland. The centre offers a look back at the importance of the Icelandic horse over the last century and shows how Icelanders have used and kept the Icelandic horse. In addition, current topics relating to breeding, the variety of colours and the international spread of the Icelandic horse are presented.
